I need your help fellow cake bakers! I've just frosted a cake with BC 1/2 crisco 1/2 Butter. I've put flower cut outs (marshmellow fondant dried) all around the border. Can I refrigerate this cake OK or will the marshmellow fondant fall all to pieces? Thanks Pam from Bama

I've had success refrigerating MMF. It simply firmed up the decorations for me.

You can refrigerate it...relax!! The only reason they say not to refrigerate fondant is that it sweats when it comes out. Little bitty pieces won't make a difference.
