i've got a cake in the fridge right now, its IMBC with fondant accents. right now its not covered, will it dry out? i plan on putting it in a box for overnight storage, will that protect it enough? i usually don't do perishable icings and fillings, so im still nervous about how the cake will fare in the fridge. TIA!

No, IMBC will not dry out, but it may absorb other odors. I keep my stuff just open in my cake fridge overnight all the time. I would hesitate to leave it uncovered for a long time in my house fridge, tho.
