I'm making a baby shower cake in a couple weeks, and the lady who ordered the cake asked me to make it a butter cake (with the almond flavor in it) and whatever filling I think would be good with it. Any suggestions? I just made one (volunteer) for a church function, and did a strawberry mousse filling, but I was thinking something more basic since they didn't specifically ask for strawberry, if that makes sense.
I'm still so new at this so I'll gladly take any suggestions from you ladies who have much more experience than I do!!

I dont know if your able to get it or not in your area but sole makes a almond filling thats good that you could put in your cake.. they are with the pie fillings in the baking area at the market..
