Okay, so I may have added too many ingredients to one poor cake. I added i cup of sour cream and 1 box of pudding along with 1 teaspoon of flavoring. it is the best cake I have ever tasted, but when i took it out of the even it became a pancake. What did I do?

Yes, I would agree that you added too much to one cake. Sounds like the cake was way too dense and fell/sunk into itself because it was so heavy. What was the ratio of other ingrediants you added?

Did you bake it long enough ? Probably to many liquids though...

Yeah, I must agree that it probablly had too many liquids. I used 1 and 1/3 cup of water, and 1/3 cup of oil. should I have used less water or should I have added 1 cup of cake flour?

When adding sourcream, you need to cut back on your water. Depending on the particular cake, it should be cut back to 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water.
