Ok this is my problem, I have this one teacher and she means alot to me. She helped me get through all my math classes which is not small feat! I stink at math! Anyway I am graduating and I want to make her a cake(she LOVES chocolate) but I don't know what to make for her? I don't know if I should make it like school stuff or just flowers? Any pic or suggestions would be great! Thanks!
IF she loves chocolate try ganache, either poured over or whipped as the filling. I agree with bookbabe the thought will mean more than what it looks like.
When a student surprises me with a special gift, it is truly the thought that counts. Just to know that they care about me enough to pick something special out is very flattering and sometimes a little emotional. Does she have a favorite 'thing'? We all keep something we like on our desks or in our room. Or if she is a math teacher, how about her favorite color in icing and then some math formulas (quadratic), or math tools around the cake? Trust me, whatever you choose to do will make an impression on her and don't be surprised if there are a few tears! ![]()
My friend who is a teacher, truly hates things that are teacher related (gift wise). She loves teaching, but she says she does have a life outside of the school. So make something you would have fun doing. She will love it, I can guarantee it.
suggestion - a cake with a summer theme as every teacher I know loves summer. ![]()
I'm not creative with the words; but I'm thinking of making some kind of math equasion on a blackboard ... me + you = lucky me! I know you can come up with something if you like the idea.
in my pics I have a cake with teacher stuff on it ... book, apple, ruler, blackboard.
