I had a miscommunication with a friend/customer about the date of her childs party. Turns out it's this Sunday. Wouldn't be a problem except that I'm out of town this weekend. Can I do the cake on Thursday night (I mean completely do the cake - buttercream frosting, fondant accents (stripes/circles flat on cake)) and freeze it? Would it be ok or not? I know there are some topics on this, but I don't have time to search right now. Someone help me!!! Please!

Thanks!

BTW, my buttercream is half Crisco, half butter if that makes a difference. I've read some of the other threads and it seems condensation is the real issue here. Would refrigeration be better?
