Does anyone have any ideas for a cake for a house warming? My step daughter is moving into her first house and I'd like to take them a cake when they get settled. I'd like it to be something special. Thanks for any advice.

I made a house warming cake that was a round cake with an address plaque on top, with the new address on it. Customer really liked it.

How about a white cake with yellow roses and a "Home Sweet Home" on it?

kick up a notch "cute" factor:

make lettering (whole top?) look like done in cross stitch (like a cross stitch sampler)

you could do a letter box with the new house number on it. there is a photo in my pictures of a letterbox and sweetpea made of gumpaste on a suuare cake made to look like grass.

Slate welcome signs are popular here...Round cake with flowers all around and up the sides, with a faux slate or welcome mat on top...
