Hi, Everyone!

I have a template for a round and square cake that I made in MSPaint, that I print out and draw on when designing a cake.

Does anyone out there have a template for a contour cake? I tried making one -- the left side comes out great, the right side is always distorted.

If anyone has one, would you please attach the file or PM me with it? I am designing my first paid-for wedding cake, and the bride is thinking about a contoured stack.

Thanks Bunches!

Sorry...I don't know what a "contoured" cake is. Can you expand?

They're cakes with a contoured top like a dome. Here's the contoured pans to give you an idea...

If you get one side perfect can you copy it then paste it... then flip it? Then you can just move it into the position that you want? I use adobe photoshop a lot, i haven't used Paint in years.

If this doesn't work for you what size are you looking for? Do you do one cake per 8x10 pc of paper?

Hope this helps, if i can help let me know.

Yes, I normally do an 8-1/2 x 11 drawing. I do not have Adobe Photoshop in my computer, although I have heard many great things about the program. I just upgraded to Office Professional, so another new program is out of the question at the present time.

Thanks for reminding me about the flip. That's what I will use to get it done.
