I tried to place an order with creativecutters.com and received a warning from my browser that it was not safe to go to the check out page - that data could be being directed to a third party. Anyone else have this problem? I really wanted to order a tool that was recommended to me at the NYS ICES DOS on Saturday.

I have no idea about the webpage, do they have a phone # you can call?

But what I do want to know is what tool are you getting?

It's called a "wooden anger." Betty Van Norstrand was the instructor and she showed us how to "ruffle" gumpaste with it.

I got the same thing, clicked on the 'view certificate' option, and it said it was for rapidalgebra.com, which is a website software company. I would email the owner of the website and see if she uses that software. If she does, then I think it would be safe to proceed.

Maybe someone else that is more computer savvy can offer their suggestions on this one too!

Have you looked at globalsugarart for it, they have really fast shipping, esspecially since your already in NY. Other then that i would call creative cutters and order it over the phone as it would be safer with your card.

Check out this starter set with the wooden anger tool in it. The price is great for all of the pieces included.

I've ordered from them many times and not had a problem. You can call them to place an order, I believe they have an 800 number.

Thanks everyone. I called Creative Cutters and they gave me a technical explanation about servers and such and told me it was ok to go ahead. I did and received my order very quickly. However, they no longer carry the wooden anger. I am so upset.
