While getting ready for my cake decorating class, I ran into the most perplexing problem to date. icon_confused.gif I've applied to fondant to both square and oval pans with no problem. Last night/this morning I had an extremely difficult time applying fonadnt to a round cake. It kept wanting to pucker and it wouldnt lay down. icon_cry.gif After awhile I started to believe that it indeed had a mind of it's own! icon_evil.gif Any tips to get the fondant to behave on a curve? Wow! This is a new one! It's usually the square and oval that people have trouble with.

There is a video on the Ateco website that will definitely help -

go to Tutorial 1 for rolling fondant and covering the cake.
