Try putting a classified ad in the ICES newsletter. Otherwise, I would hire a business broker to put it onto the national listings.

here and in ICES are great way to get to the right audience. the other option for free is to post on Craigslist.org. don't know how successful it is with selling businesses, but great for lots of other for sale/wanted type things. and free.
good luck
Hmmm, wish you were in Washington...I'd have to take a look at it.

How did you determine the asking price?
How much are you asking? What are your sales? How much cake or wedding cake?
Is the building included or rented and how much square feet?

Sugarhill,
Whoever purchases your bakery......I hope they are well trained! I just looked at a few of your wedding cakes and you are very talented! The bar you have set is very high. For whatever reason you have chosen to sell, I wish you the best!
try businessnation.com and bizbuysell.com i have other places saved but they are on my other pc. not sure if the listing is free or what. but i like to check to see if there are any businesses for sale close by once in a while. perhaps you may even find a group of decorators locally to band together to buy it from you. good luck, your cakes are lovely.
