I found this cake in the gallery that I really like.

I would like to replace the flowers with soccor balls. What would you suggest for making the soccor balls?

Here is a mini soccer ball pan that is all I can find for now.....sorry.

I would try making them out of fondant since they have to be small!

What about cake balls dipped in white chocolate? Then you can ice on the black ? It would be a little extra surprise? and you can make them any size you want =)

Can't wait to see your cake. I love that design.

Do you have a Swiss Colony mag?? They have the cutest basketball, soccer ball, football truffles I have been thinking you could do the same thing with cakeballs

for getting that perfect ball I have thought about using the molds for round suckers. Have you seen them or have a place near you that you could pick one up? If not do you still have time to order? Then they would all be the same size and round. I know it is hard to get them round even if you use a scoop to get the same amount.

I have been know to, when in a hurry for a school cake, to go to Mr Bulkys candy store at the mall and get the little chocolate balls wrapped like soccer balls, I have a cake in my photos I think, that I did this with.

You could also do royal icing runouts and put them on an angle.
