I plan to bake a yellow or white cake and add some banana extract for flavoring. I have some banana instant pudding i'd like to use in a tort. Would I have to add some whip cream to that or would it be ok to do it with just adding a mashed banana to the pudding???? I want to take it to work and I wont have access to a fridge there. If I use the whip cream in the pudding wont it spoil if not refrigerated??? TIA
I wouldn't put whipped cream into it unless you can refrigerate it. The pudding with bananas should be ok, but it will turn a little brown as the banans oxidize. I would slice them and fold them in rather than mash them.
