Does anyone know if you can thin down piping gel enough to spray on with airbrush gun/ or spray bottle. I need to do a grooms cake that has a shine finish. I do not use fondant and will be doing this cake in buttercream. [/img]

I can't answer the piping gel question, but why not use IMBC? It's pretty glossy when it's room temp.

Is it possible to use a luster dust or a pearl dust to get a shiny finish?? I know I used pearl on blue icing(sky with clouds) and it looked shiny and pretty! Sorry no pics, I have made so many cakes and keep forgetting the camera=( This will bump your post back up incase someone has a better suggestion for you!

One last thing...Welcome to CC!! Jen
