Luster Dust And Candy Melts Question

can you paint on a candy mold with luster dust? I'm making my son's communion cake and I have the praying hands mold. I wanted to paint it with the bronze luster dust that I have but wasn't sure if it would work.
Anyone know? Thanks.
Yes you can. I find it works best if dry dusted on, but just this am I used pearl dust mixed with lemon extract on a white candy melt tiara.
hummm--if you want--the sea shells in my pic are dusted with old gold and super pearl dust. No pic of the tiara ---yet ![]()
Thank you !! I'll try it dry. Glad I asked!! I appreciate the help.

If you want REALLY intense shine, you can spray your chocolate with cocoa butter first, and more dust will stick.
Beautiful job! That is gorgeous!!!!! Love the shine you used!!!
Beautiful! How big are the hands?
Thank you
The hands are 6 1/2x3. I got it here. They have so many molds!
