Hello!
I have been asked to make a rainbow trout cake for a guy who really loves fishing. I'm just wondering how to get the icing colours to blend from one to the next. Oh, and any ideas for scales? Thanks any suggestions greatly appreciated! icon_smile.gif

to blend the colors use a hot spatula. they describe it very nicely in the WBH book. called varigated icing technique.

There are a few really awesome fish cakes in the Nature cake contest. Maybe you could PM one of those decorators and ask?
Sorry, I am not sure. icon_sad.gif
