Emergency! Please Help!

I am doing a wedding cake (my first)! I usually use the melvira method which works great with my wilton buttercrem frosting reciepe but today its raining and the frosting is cracking and stickey so i cant get the frosting smooth!!!!!! Please help, what can i do to fix this my spatula technique isnt great and cake has to be delivered in two hours. Your wisdom needed. THANKS icon_cry.gif

Can you put a fan on the cake so that it crusts better for you? Can you put it in the fridge so it gets firmer at least?

try using a foam roller, I love it.

ok i tried frig and foam roller looks better thanks! Still not perfect though. ill post pic this week so u can see what im talking about.
