icon_biggrin.gif I know that as bakers/ cake artist we all cakes that we can wait and wish to make Well this is one that has been on my wish list for some time and Im so excited.

We didnt know the day of the party so i made the pillars well in advance and made this yesterday.....im sooo excited and cant wait to present this to my niece but more so im sure my siter will be more excited......

Please feel freee to give constructive critism ....as Im am always trying to better myself .....One thing that i did notice is that making the msaller alyers twice as tall would have made a differnce but being thats its four teirs tall all 3' inch cakes and its only for a birthday im sure we are gonna have wayyyyy to much cake left as it is..... Ill try to upload but if the file is too big the photo is in my picutres
thank you
Nancy

It's gorgeous!

Now, I looked at your other pix. Did you pipe those orchids?

Your castle is PERFECT!!! I would love to know who you got that pattern on the cones and what you used for the towers under the cones?

the towers were hollow...i used paper towel rolls and let them harden for a couple of weeks since I wasnt sure what day the party was gonna be.... i used a knife to draw my pattern on the towers.... the turrets( cones) were two sizes the suger cones and the waffle cones....I cut stip of fondant in long lines and wrapped all the way around.... i used piping gel for glue....I then used a knife to mark the lines to make it look like shingles.....

thank you all for the compliments!!
