I've seen all the cookie bouquet's on here and thought what a neat idea for mothers day to make a cookie cake bouquet. so...I'm not much of a fondant person but I felt the terra cotta pot would look more original using fondant and I cannot get the fondant smoothly to without the excess fondant creasing over. any ideas??

do you have the pot sitting on something high when you apply the fondant? i would think that you have to have it sitting on something that is sitting tall but the lid of the can is actually smaller than the bottom of the flower pot. that way the fondant will fall straight down and not be folding..you could use a tall can of ragu spaghetti sauce ...hope i explained this correctly.

Are you doing it upside down? That's how they do it in the tutorial. I don't think you'll get it straight without cutting out a "dart" if you go from large to small. At least I couldn't icon_smile.gif

Thank you sooooo much! I put a cake on top of something smaller and no creases, helped alot!!. I haven't tried the flower pot, but I know it will help.
