Does anyone know where i can find a good picture and/or template for a cake shaped like a moose? I need to make a cake for my sister's friend's "Finally moving out" party, and my sister says it HAS to be a moose...because her friend has a moose obsession or something. Anyway, I can't find anything, and I really need help! Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!
what about googling images of moose coloring pages and doing a frozen buttercream transfer??? Or what about decorating a cake to look like a field and a stream or something with some trees and get a plastic toy figure of a deer and have it standing by the stream??
I saw a really cute moose cookie cutter in google images. If you have time to get it, you could make moose cookies or cut fondant ones to go around the sides of a round cake.
Oh, those are great ideas! This cake (http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&meta=search&search=moose&cat=0&pos=4&search=moose), which is one of the cakes from the link you have me, is one I saw and showed my sister a week or so ago...but do you know how they made the antlers? LoL.
The transfer. I have been wanting to try a transfer sometime. The only one I've done is the rainbow from my first Wilton class, LoL, so it would be great to put that lesson to use.
The cookies are good too...I didn't think about that; I guess I could ask if she wants cookies instead of cake...or both! ![]()
Thanks for the tips. Any ideas on what I could place around the cake (I don't know...grass or something, stuff like that) if I were to make a cake shaped like the moose head (the one in that picture), so I wouldn't have to worry about it just looking bland?
This one I thought was really cute.
