Can someone please tell me the proper way to wrap a cake before i put it in the cake box? such as should i wrap with cling wrap or is there something that i can purchase from the cake supply store? [/i]

Im new at this, and normally I dont freeze my cakes, but when I do it I:
1. cling wrap
2. Aluminum foil
3. plastic bag such as zipploc

Are you talking about packaging after it's decorated or before you freeze it? If after decorating, I just place mine in the cake box when the icing is crusted. If before freezing, I do the same thing as Claudine.

I never wrap a finished cake! Just put it in the box. That's what your bakery does.
