I can't get this to look quite right. It's missing something. I do realize that those dots are hideous, but I think that they are stuck there now. I have a giant silk peony that they want on it too, but It looks silly anywhere on it. Help!

I think some sort of flowers would be good on top of the cake. It's a little hard to tell 'cause the pictures so big. Do you have to use the silk one they gave you? btw, I really like the monogram.

Wow! How in the world did you get the system to accept a picture that big???? LOL

Anyway...you aren't going to want to hear this, but since you asked....I think the monogram is waaaay too big for the cake. It needs to be confined within the visual borders of the top tier, and narrow enough that it doesn't "wrap" around the diameter.

The dots could be improved by adding a bunch more - doing away with the design you've started and just turning it into dots all over. That way, the irregularities in the design won't be noticed - such as the way the design only covers the bottom two-thirds of the layer and then sags downard toward the right of the picture. If they were all-over dots, it wouldn't matter. More dots! And, of course, the nips on the dots all need to be pushed in.

Love the color combination, and your borders are nice.

I think the dots all over the bottom layer would look nice as well.

Also, maybe something in the color of the bottom layer to go on top of the top layer to tie them both together? Flowers or a topper of some kind?

Oh my, humungo...anyway, I agree with the dots all over, but also think to paint them lightly with some gold...It also feels like you something tall, but somewhat narrow on top to accent the height of the letters...

sorry, I have no idea how that pic got so large!! THank you everyone for your opinions. I will try the all over dots, I am very much a beginner so the design asthetics are the least of my problems. lol. They only want peonies, so I would have to put those on top. The silk ones they gave me are so huge that one covers the whole top of the cake. If anyone has any more critique, bring it on.
