ARGH, this cake is due tomorrow, it's a yellow butter cake (I suspect the butter is what is making it so crumbly), and I am TRYING to frost it with chocolate cream cheese icing, it has raspberry cream for filling, but OMG the frosting is tearing the cake up! I went ahead and heated the frosting a bit to make it smoother, but now it's pourable so I gotta let it stiffen up a bit.....I am freaking out!! HELP! What do I do?

Put the cake in the freezer if you can for a little while while the icing is firming up. When the cake gets cold it will get firmer and you won't tear it up. (Not frozen solid, just cold)

Well, it's done for now, I still have some 3d accents to add, but aside from the corners falling apaprt, it doesn't look too bad.....check my photos. Thanks for CC, I needed the break before I threw the cake icon_eek.gif
