Hello-
OK so I'm frosting a 14 "cake right NOW and the customer wants one layer yellow one chocolate. So I baked a 14" yellow and a 14" chocolate. The pan is a 2" pan. I'm wondering, do I cut each in half and then make the cake that way (so i'd actually be left with a yellow/choc 14") OR do I stack the cakes on top of each other and end up with a huge 4" 14"round cake?? icon_surprised.gif I usually torte my cakes (cut in half) but I've never done two flavors before.... any help is GREATLY appreciated....

TIA

My cakes are always 4" tall, but if yours are 2", I would torte it however you normally do.
So... you wind up with some extra cake. You can always freeze it or make some....ta dah....cake balls! icon_smile.gif
