What information does anyone have on edible image machines for doing cake pics. etc. I am looking to possibly purchase one and wanted some information prior to going out to look.
I see this isnt a very popular topic...lol I just posted the same question & many have looked, but no replies. I will keep searching & if I find anything, I will let you know.
Edible images are my personal favorite! Here is a link to the articles that Lisa (one of our Mods) put together! Lots of helpful info.
For me, I get all my stuff from www.icingimages.com ..you might want to check out their website for more info. HTH! ![]()
Thank you very much but you forgot the link from Lisa...lol
Here is a link to the first chapters, links to the remaining 2 chapters are at the end of the first: http://www.cakecentral.com/article59-Edible-Images-Chapter-1---The-Basics.html
I also have the Epson c88+. I buy my supplies from www.kopykake.com also. What kind of info do you need?
Thank you very much but you forgot the link from Lisa...lol

Glad to hear you are having good luck with that printer and that brand of icing sheets, as that was the way I was thinking of going. Your cake looks great by the way!
Ok Thanks for all the info! But I have another question. I typed in Epson c88+ on ebay & all I got was Ink. Am I not doing something right? Im trying to find the printer to do this.
Thanks yall!
There should be a sub-menu on the left listing matching categories. Click on 'printers' and then it will just show the printers for sale. Here is what I just found:

Wanted to offer an opinion as well.....I use a canon pixma ip 4200 for my images. I got it off of circuitcity.com a couple of months ago. I use kopykake.com for my supplies. The only suggestion I have with it is to purchase a household steamer cleaner (one that sprays a good water steam) because my printerhead gets clogged a lot. Otherwise, I like my printer. kopykake.com has some inforamtion on that as well. Good Luck!
