Hi guys:
I hope everyone is doing great this morning. It's a beautiful day here in New York.

Well, I just completed my last cake. What is your opinion? I always get so nervous about making cakes. No more I feel nervous about the batter, everyone likes the way they taste. But, seeing others decorations freaks me out about mine. Thanks to you guys off course I have build up some confidence to just throw my cakes out there and hope for the best.

This is my second paid cake. How much would you guys charge for this cake? I know it's not a professional cake. I seen some gorgeous cakes on this site that makes me wonder where do I get the nerves to post my cakes. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Thanks for your opinion in advance and have a great weekend.

P.S. I used the choc. DH cake cake - extender mix, strawberry jam combined with choc. pudding and 2 tbsps of grenadine syrup. I also used for the icing BC with choc syrup and orange extract. Great taste.

Wow what a beautiful cake!! icon_smile.gif Me in my town I'll charge let say hummmm maybe 75$. there's a lot of work in that cake. but for pricing it depends where you live, and all. Maybe someone from your area will help you more on that.
Have a great day

I agree 75$ sounds like a good price. It's a very pretty cake and it sounds delicious. I am just starting out too and have the same feelings when I look at all the amazing cakes out there. But you have to remember that everyone has to start some place. Gosh what I would pay to one of Colette's first cakes. *sigh* Anyway, I think your cakes look great and You have a great eye for color!

Excuse me, I need to get a napkin, I'm drooling on my keyboard!! I haven't had breakfast yet and now I'm thinking..."do I have any chocolate in the house?" LOL

I think your cake looks great! $75 sounds very reasonable to me as well. If your cakes look this good now, just imagine what you'll be doing in another few years!

We love you toooooo!!!
