I made a cake last weekend and need to make the same cake this weekend so I left the frosting in disposable bags covered the ends and put them in the fridge. Question: Can I take them out and just use them??

Give them a prod, if it feels too stiff, you may have to let them warm up a little first, or you may have difficulty piping with it.

Probably. What kind of frosting? Take them out and let them get a little warmer (unless it is whipped topping). I usually just massage the bags a little and go.

I would think that if everything was sealed up pretty well, you would be fine. They say that buttercream keeps for a good while in the frig as long as its sealed. I guess if it looks and tastes right, its safe.

Thanks for the advise / tips - I'm going to take them out, get them warm and get to decorating.
