Does anyone know where I can find fancy letterstampers? I have some of the plain cutters, but I ned something like Cursive or Old English because I have a client wanting a fondant monogram on her wedding cake. Anyone know where I can get these?

I'm not sure but you might want to try Nicholas Lodge website, he sells a lot of cutters.

I do mine in the computer, the size I need, then outline it with white chocolate, butter cream or what ever I'm using and then just transfer it to the cake.

Oh I just bought some for my class. I know the cake shop I go to has mail order but you may have to call them. It is called cake carousel and there local phone number is 972-690-4628 their website is www.cakecarousel.com. I would talk w/ Jeri and I think she called them tap-its. You press the impression into the fondant then tap it to get the letter out. I hope that is what you are talking about.

Here is another idea that I saw online. You can use these inexpensive molds with candy melts to make your own monograms. There are diff sizes and varities I think:

I usually do my own from the computer. But, this week I saw some stencils at Hobby Lobby in the art department. You could use those as patterns.

Oohhh, I like this idea. I am gonna order some now. Looks like you can also use fondant with these in addition to candy melts.

Thanks!!!!!

That's a good idae, maybe I can play the stencils on top of fondant and cut it out with an exacto knife.

I just ordered the script alphabet letters by FMM (tappit cutters) from Global Sugar Art, but I know they are available other places. Shipping wasnt too bad from Global Sugar Art, by the way. First time I placed and order there. IT was nice too, because you could see right away what the shipping was going to be before you had a whole cart full of stuff. KWIM??

I have the tappit cutters also. I love them. Just wish they were a bit bigger. I love the candy molds. I think I will get them too.

Thanks!
