Does anyone know how to clean cake plates that have turned yellow or do you just throw them away and just get new ones.

I like both your avatars

All Wilton plates/pillars turn yellow. I have heard bleach but it didn't work for me.

Now, what did work for me, I went to the hardware store and they found non-toxic spray paint for plastic.

Works like a charm

I never thought of the spray!

I had a TON of old old equipment that had yellowed and I couldn't de-yellow it. It went to a good cause .... I knew a 12 year old little girl who was learning cake decorating for 4H, so I called her mom and told her i'd sell her the whole box for $10. TOld her these would be for practice only ... they looked too bad to use for 'real' cakes, but that little girl was thrilled to get all of my old stuff!

My 'feel good' donation of that year!
