Ok all here is my question:

How long does MMF last. I made a batch almost a month ago. I had a lot left over and want to do some this weekend but done feel like making it (or the mess). If i mic it a little to soften it is it still good. How long does that stuff last? The wilton stuff seems to last forever as long as it doesnt get rock hard but i have idea about this.

TIA

how about once you make flowers and decorations? i was told the wilton stuff lasts forever (no wonder why it tastes like chemicals) how about MMF? do you still follow the 6 month rule or does it become forever?

thanks for the help too

Same thing with MMF....I have used stuff older than 6 months with no problem at all.

Wish I could help you there...I rarely have any longer than a few weeks. My son has a radar that will find it!

Besides, ziplock bag, is it necessary to keep it in the fridge?
What should I do if it gets too hard?

No refrigeration needed....pop it in the microwave to soften it up before use... thumbs_up.gif

Thank you so much for this thread! I was just getting ready to throw a big batch I have left over from a few months ago. I'm glad I can still use it to make something with.
