Does anyone know how to make a cake or fondant mold in the shape of a dinner plate?

If you have any suggestions or websites I view that would be great!

just mold the fondant to a plate you already have.

oh yeah, why didn't I think of that.

So would I mold just the top portion of the plate or the entire plate?

Make sure you put corn starch on the plate first... Then your going to mold from the top of the plate and your going to take it off the plate and dust the plate again and then put it back on top of the plate to let it dry completely..

Glad to be able to help...

Once its dry you can either luster dust it or if you want it to be a color add it to your paste before your going to mold..

When I apply the luster dust, do I add a little water to my brush first? Or do I apply the luster dust straight on?
