Strawberries For Decorating....need Ideas!

Hello everyone,
My oldest son is turning 9 on May 5th and he wants a chocolate cake with strawberry filling, chocolate frosting, but no "boyish" theme- in the past I have done Yu-Hi-OH, Batman, Spiderman, etc. So, I thought since he loves strawberries, and I am doing a strawberry filling, I would use fresh strawberries as decorations. Chocolate covered strawberries or fresh or a combination- has any one used them on cakes for decorations? I looked in the photo galleries for some ideas, but didn't see any. Can any one give me some ideas?
Hey- When I do strawberry decorations, I like to stick them on the ends of lollipop sticks. You can push the sticks into the cake far enough that it looks like the strawberries are somehow balancing on their tips either straight up, or at angles coming from center of cake. Does that make sense? Have fun ;O)
type "strawberries" in the search engine for the galleries...there must be more than 10 pages of ideas there.........I think chocolate covered strawberries would be gorgeous....what about making the chocolate cake with a basket weave on the sides to look like a brown basket then put strawberries or choc. dipped ones for that matter on the top making it look like a whole basket full of strawberries???
