I know this has been answered before and I know there is a chart on this but I can't find it and I am in a hurry. My oven is heated and ready to go and I can't find this info. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I use 1.5 BC mixes per pan for the 10" rounds, I don't doctor. It fills it a little high but I level in the pan, using the pan as a guide, before turning it out and it works really well for me.

box cake mixes are on average 4 to 5 cups of batter per box ( I actually found this on the inside of box once). One ten inch pan uses 6 cups of batter. Undoctored, you need 3 boxes of mix, but if you use a cake mix extender, you will only need 2 boxes. I have found that when I actually measure the batter while putting into pans, the cakes cook ever well with little hump.

you're probably done baking by now, but I use one mix per 10" pan. No extenders or anything added. Use the baking strips for high, even height.

DH butter recipe cakes make 5-6 cups of batter in my experience, the others seem to make less. So I just use one for each pan.
