Help With Wording On This

A friend recently lost her job. How could I word a sympathy cake, but keep it light hearted and funny? I just found out, so would like to make it as soon as possible. Thanks!

something along the lines of:

When a door closes, a window opens (or vice versa)

(coudl say when God closes the door he opens the window)...easy to tie into a picture on the cake.

My job was interferring with my spa treatments (or some similar thing she likes to do)
