? About Modeling Figures

I have a stupid question about modeling figures from fondant or gumpaste or a mixture. how do you attach the pieces to each other? for example, to make an animal, how do you attach the head or legs to the rest of the body?

I use a dab of water....it acts like a glue when fondant & fondant meet..
be careful not to get water where you don't want to put things together...it gets sticky and will sometimes leave a wet mark....you can also add a tooth pick to reinforce the bond.
