Could you go to www.coriscorner.com and see if you have any trouble accessing the website? Everytime I go to the site, it starts to load the page, and then I get a message saying that internet explorer has encountered an error and needs to close, then it closes the page out. Let me know if you get the same message or have the same or similar problems. Thanks so much! icon_smile.gif

It loaded just fine for me. But I'm at work and their computers are much better than mine at home.

just went there:

results, my security software popped a warning window about an ActiveX control

this is considered a risk as ActiveX controls are one way the bad guys get control of computers and steal info.

in this case the control was to load a media player so you could hear the music on the site.

my guess: either--
1) you don't have the right software for the music OR
2) your secruity software is set at a very high level and auto blocks any site that has an ActiveX control

i'v encountered #1 many times in my travels on the net. so make sure you have the latest versions of:
Windows Media Player (microsoft)
RealPlayer (Real Media)
QuickTime (Apple)

HTH

Thanks to both of you! Well...it can't be my security settings...they're at medium (I dropped it to low just to see & the same thing still happened)...and as for not having the right/updated software, I go there quite frequently over the past year or so and the music always plays automatically & this is the first time I've ever had this problem. Hmmmm.... icon_confused.gif I'll try rebooting and see if it changes. Thanks for the help! icon_smile.gif

Ok...so I rebooted the pc...no change. Then I ran a Windows Update scan...no updates needed. Checked my anti-virus softwares settings, tried again, no change. Any computer geniuses out there who might know what's causing this? I've never visited a website before that starts to load and then automatically stops and makes internet explorer close. Could I be banned from the site or something?? LOL icon_lol.gificon_razz.gif Or could it be a problem on their end, maybe? Help!

icon_lol.gif Funny, Mouse! As if I'm not addicted ENOUGH!?! icon_lol.gificon_razz.gif

OK...so I've closed out every application/program, tried it, and still the same thing. I'm really getting frustrated and wondering what in the world could be causing this. There's gotta be a computer wiz here who knows why this is happening to me icon_cry.gificon_sad.gif This lady does all sorts of incredible stuff, including cakes, and I really wanted to check in and see what's new. This has been happening to me for 2 days now and I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever be able to view her site again. icon_sad.gif Help somebody!

Hey Jenn,

It opened fine for me.

Did you check your viris, adware or spyware programs for problem?
