I Hate Birthdays!!! Cake Disaster, Party Flop....

I want to scream and cry right now 
DD's cake just fell out of the pan in a million crumbles. I was trying a new recipe for strawberry cake, trying to make one as good as one I tasted at a potluck last week, and obviously I failed miserably!! Now I have to wait 'till tonight to go shop for new ingredients and try again. I am so tired and have so much to do to get ready for company coming for the weekend and the party tomorrow eve, and I'll now be up all night trying to make a new cake. I feel like just going to walmart and buying one but then I'd end up being sad I didn't make DD a nice Dora cake 
On top of that, DH just told me that his friend is no longer able to bring his girls to DD's party, so we're down to ONE kid that will be there at her party tomorrow night. I'm so sad. She probably won't even care but I do.
Well thanks for letting me vent! Off to find a recipe for strawberry cake balls
