Does anyone have a Franklin Chef that works. Is my experience a terrible fluke? Should I take another chance?????? Are there any other affordable convection ovens that you could recommend. Thanks so much!!!!

I have, had, a FC convection oven, model # 1644, which was really great!!!! I could bake up to a 13x9x2 and bundt cakes with no problem, without heating up the whole kitchen.
Unfortunately, it died after only four months!!! Customer service eventually (took 14 weeks to get response) sent another one, which wouldn't heat any higher than 275 degrees no what what temperate was selected.
