How many times can MMF be softened in the microwave w/o ruining it?

I made MMF (first try) last month for DH's birthday. Since my son's birthday is in May and am forver strapped for time, I decided to make it ahead and store in it saran wrap. I softened (to the point it was liquid-y) in in the microwave to add color to it this weekend. I plan to make figures as cake toppers this week and would like it a little bit soft so that its easy to shape. Will this ruin the mmf?

I think you'll be fine. I reheat my colored MMF all the time. I've kept some for a couple of months, and reheat to soften up again. Leftovers are stored, reheated and used again. So far I haven't had any trouble.
