Lainee,

Some time ago there was a forum on "Roses out of Candy " It was in reference to the use of a pasta machine you had asked how I made mine and I tried to describe my method since I used my hands and no machine. Well, after numerous days/month later I found the method I use on Wilton's website. This was a photo detail for you to see for yourself. Only difference is I used bubble gum instead of fondant.

There is also a website called http://whatscookingamerica.net/Candy/ChocolateRoses.htm

Here they have instructions for making roses from a edible chocolate clay (of course it does not taste too good). They also have the recipe for the chocolate clay as well.
