I have a new Art show coming up and I need help with some research. I am looking for the most elaborate wedding cake ever! Buttercream, royal icing or fondant are all fine.....it just needs to be over the top.

Look for the most froo-froo, gee-gaw and/or ultra femine wedding cake you have ever seen......... And if it is pink all the better. Please post link, photo or let me know where I can find it.......

Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!

Lambeth immediately came to mind, which should be right up your alley. icon_biggrin.gif

ShirleyW's Lambeth cake:
(Sorry, but it's a black/white photo.)

And cakemommy's exquisite lavender Lambeth creation:

HTH

P.S.

I think these cakes are ultra-feminine, ornate, intricate, technically challenging, incredibly time consuming, and gorgeous. Just not a style that is practical in most situations due to cost and time constraints. (IMHO.)
