Silver Flowers?

i am making my daughters wedding cake, and i am wondering how to make the flowers and icing have a silver color or sheen. i have just finished the wilton classes (3 courses ) so i am really a new cake decorater!

I think you can paint your flowers with silver color, if you are making your flowers with fondant. Or you can mix the silver color in your BC or any icing.
There are lots of tutorials on this site that you will get an idea about how to make the different kinds of flowers.

So glad you found us!!!!
There are a number of cake supply store on the web that have dusting powders that will give you the sheen your looking for. There is pastrywiz.com, pattycakes.com, countrykitchensa.com, and so many more!!!! Just do a google search and there you go!!!
The pearl dusts will give a light shimmer when dusted on dry with a large, soft, dry brush. There is luster dusts that have more color.
If you want a stark, bright color, add a few drops of lemon extract to the color and paint the color on your flowers with a new, clean paint brush. Sounds like it's gonna be a beautiful cake.
