Is there????? What I do is just roll the fondant like a sausage until the desired thickness. When I roll it too thin it breaks. I hate having different thickness.

Thanks!

the clay gun is great for this, it extrudes the fondant at an even thickness. ifyou dont have one you can try rolling your fondant using a flat cookie sheet or something instead on your hands.

What I have used to borders like that is the sugarcraft gun. It has worked wonderful for me. Here is link to where I got mine form. http://beryls.safeshopper.com/216/cat216.htm?599

Thanks sweetcakes and gypsycake. I guess it might be a good idea to invest on the clay gun.

Gapi - I use a PlayDoh Fun Factory, with the interchangeable shape that goes on it. I grease it up really well with Crisco, inside & out, then run my fondant through it. It has worked really well for me & I only paid $5 for it at Dollar General. I am starting on a purse & suitcase cake this weekend for the 28th, so I'll see how it works for that!

I use a little green plastic clay gun I got at Michaels for under $5. It has lots of different discs and works great. They sell metal ones there too.

Definitely get a clay gun. I love mine, but sometimes it is tough to extrude the fondant. Next time I use it I'm going to try to soften up the fondant with a lot of shortening.

Thanks bkdcakes, KIMAZ and MissyTex. Before thinking on buying a clay gun I´ll check the other options.
