butter pecan cake?

My sister and I have our final wilton course 1 class tomorrow night and she baked a butter pecan cake.....but it's my job to figure out the filling....

any suggestions?? How about a frosting....we have to be able to make roses with it..should I just go with regular buttercream or is there something else that would taste great and work as well??

TIA

Cindy

go with the class buttercream for your final cake as for fillings how about a real butter icing with chopped pecans, or a candy brickle
