Oh, Susan, I remember my sis going through the same thing when her DD turned 10. Something about the double digits, I think.
My oldest is almost 8, so I have a couple of years to prepare myself for this. It doesn't help that she has a habit of referring to how old I am and how we cooked without electricity when I was a kid. (I'm only 31! icon_confused.gif but even that's ancient to a kid)
Happy Birthday to your son!! And just remember what a young and vibrant mom you are!! thumbs_up.gif

Oh, 10 is a wonderful age!!! What I wouldn't give to have that time again with my "little ones!"

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy, mama... of course, that will only come after you are able to pass over these feeling you're having, which are perfectly normal, by the way. icon_wink.gif But get ready for a delightful year!

Sweetie wait until your first born child turns 50! Now there is a shocker, my son turned 50 in '05, and I still haven't figured out how that happened. I don't feel any older, how can he be?

I'm not a mom, but I'm 10 years older than my brother . . . and I think his best years were between 10 and 15 . . . before he could drive! They start getting so gentlemanly and interested in so many new things at his age . . . its a blast!

Supercaker,

Yep, they grow so fast and the years just fly by.
