I've seen Gordon Food Services (www.gfs.com) sell different flavors of coffee syrups. I thought at one time I saw someone post on here about how they use the syrups in something that they make. Does anybody use these syrups? Would they be good for MMF?

Don't know about MMF but I do use coffee creamers for BC flavoring. It is great. So all I can say is try it and post here for the rest of us.

Still no one chiming in about using these? I have 3 bottles in my kitchen and am planning on getting more because I'm sure there is so much I can use these in, other than limeades I've been making. I did try the strawberry one in a cake once, did not add enough to really tell it was strawberry.

Is this the same thing as the Toriani Coffee Syrups? I use those ALL the time! I use them to flavor cakes, I make fillings out of them, I use them for my BC. And they come in about a ba-jillion different flavors!

Cake filling - One box instant pudding, 1 cup syrup, 1 cup heavy cream & a tub of cool whip. You can make any flavor filling you want! And at places like Cash & Carry, or if you have a Business Delivery Costco Whse nearby, they sell them by the bottle for like, 3 bucks.

The brand I buy is DaVinci gourmet. A 25.4 oz cost me about $4.37.

I've never used that brand, but its still a pretty good deal at a little more than $4! They are ridiculously expensive if you buy them at the grocery store, though (sometimes you can find a couple flavors like vanilla or hazelnut) The little bottle is $8 at the Safeway by my house! Crazy! icon_eek.gif

Sam's has a ton of them, vanilla, strawberry, hazelnut, french vanilla, raspberry, irish cream, kahlua & almond plus they have most of these in sugar free. I have strawberry and raspberry right now. I was thinking these would be great from making simple syrup.

You're right! I never even thought about that!! icon_biggrin.gif I had a lady that wanted a melon cake with lemon filling one time. (I was grossed out, but whatever... hehe) I used the melon coffee syrup in place of the liquid in a plain old vanilla cake and filled it with lemon curd. I thought it sounded awful, but she loved it. Just goes to show how you can use the variety of flavors they offer, I guess
