Hi y'all!!
I just wanted to share my very first cupcakes with y'all. They are just plain ole white cake with pink Swiss Meringue BC Icing. The frosting is also a first for me icon_smile.gif However, I started off making a chocolate frosting for them but some how a bit of water must have gotten into my chocolate icon_sad.gif And you know what happened after that! Any way, I'm some what pleased with them except I have a mental problem with the frosting. It tastes very good but it's virtually ALL butter!!! When I bite it I feel like I am biting in to a stick of butter. Any of y'all ever feel like that? Maybe it is just me and my twisted way of thinking LOL

Thanks for looking icon_biggrin.gif Any comments and criticism appreciated.

Very pretty! How did you create that "carnation flower" look?

The picture really doesn't do them justice. They look more like carnations in person. What I did was jiggle the frosting back and forth as I was piping around. Quite simple really.

Congrats! I usually do swirls on my cupcakes but I'll have to try your technique to get that carnation look. They look nice!
