hi, me and my bf are cooking our very first turkey, and we dont no when it will be done, we dont have a thermometer to mesure it, so how else will we no when our turkeys done?

its at 475 ( the safe way thing said to put it that high)

(old trick to check after cooking for reccomended time:...cut into breast meat all the way to bone. check for two things:
white meat all way to bone and juices that run clear.)

fyi: I never cook stuffing inside the bird. just do some type of rub or spicing inside cavity. (have stuffed w/ fruit..apples, raisens which were thrown out! after cooking)....just don't trust it to be totally safe when cooked inside.
