Just been asked to do a cake for May 5th for a teen girl who likes the Disney Jump in! movie.
I have never seen the movie but did a quick Google search and it seems like it's about double dutch?
I need a simple cake idea please:
Have another cake due the same day
Am almost 7 months pregnant
In the process of buying a new home, for the first time, out of state!
Thanks for any & all ideas!

are you good at fondant figures? Could you do 2 girls and then put jumpropes in their hands in the shape of an X across a sheet cake? Good luck with the baby and the move, I have a new little one too, he will be 7 weeks tomorrow!

How about a cake with fondant rope to look like jump rope as borders? You could find some jump chant and write those on the side. Maybe do a bow that looks like tied jump ropes?

Great idea, not too much work!
I have only made mini golf balls out of MMF for golf cupcakes but my DH loves to make claymation movies. Maybe I can convince him to make some figures for me out of MMF instead of clay!

Why don't you print the movie poster from disney.com and laminate it and frost around it to make it part of the cake. The you can make jump ropes using different colored frosting to add more color.

Here is a link to the disney page
