I am making my first dummy cake I ordered the cake dummies of a 10 in pillow cake and a 14in contoured round I just wanted to know should I cover them in platic wrap( I will not be getting them back)I will be coveing them in fondant then do I use BC or do I use something else? Do I need dowels for support or just one straight thru to secure everything. It will be a pillow cake on top of the round with a RI tiara on top. TIA Maria

Wet the dummy with water and then apply fondant on it. I've never heard of covering them in plastic wrap.

Use RI instead to do decorations on cakes. Use one dowel straight through to secure.
